Tour Overview
After exploring the cities of Bangkok and Chiang Mai in Thailand we head to charming, tranquil, laid-back Laos, many people's favourite Asian destination. We adapt to the pace of life by cruising slowly down the Mekong, exploring river caves and admiring the temples in dreamy, monastic Luang Prabang. Away to the south is Cambodia, a country shaped by tragedy, where everyone we meet will have a story to tell. From Phnom Penh's wide boulevards we head north to Siem Reap with two full days to discover the magnificent Khmer ruins of Angkor, which just missed out on being added to the new list of the 7 wonders of the world in 2007.
