Improve your skating techniqueExtensive range of cross-country trailsExperienced leader
In Austria's finest cross-country ski location, Seefeld's extensive network of skating trails offers some of the best skiing in the Alps. From our new base in Seefeld, we enjoy an active week of skating through the impressive Tyrolean landscape. Most departures are led by Eric Woolley, an English Ski Council Coach/Tutor who has been leading our holidays for many years. In the morning coaching sessions allow an opportunity to refresh skating skills already learnt and the afternoons can be spent exploring the area. If appropriate, we will incorporate some longer tours on more challenging terrain, where we can really perfect our skating technique. Thanks to our central base and Seefeld's excellent loipe system, we can enjoy many excellent circuits in the area. This is the perfect trip for those who already have skating experience but wish to improve and perfect their technique in spectacular surroundings. Cross-country skiing: Versciaco Skating Course: Eric Woolley also leads our Seefeld Skating trip (see CXV for trip details), so it is possible to continue improving your skating technique but in Austria's Tyrol.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1Start Mosern.
Day 2-7
We prefer not to specify in advance where we will ski each day. This is to enhance the flexibility and adapt to weather and snow conditions and to some extent the ability of each group. When choosing routes, the leader's priority will be to take in a variety of scenery and to ensure that participants become better and more confident skiers as the week progresses. Examples of skiing options: In the morning of Grade 3 weeks, coaching sessions allow an opportunity to refresh those skating skills already learnt, so the afternoons can be spent exploring the area. As we move on, our days will generally involve longer tours on more challenging terrain, where we can really perfect our skating technique. Thanks to Seefeld's excellent loipe system, we can enjoy the many circuits around Mösern or venture into the silent forests of Wildmoosalm.

End Mosern.
