Tour Overview
A ramble through the colonial streets of Hanoi's Old Quarter transports you back to the late 19th century. Here, a fascinating blend of French and Asian styled buildings look down upon the vibrant and colourful street life. To the east lie the tranquil waters and beautiful pinnacles of Halong Bay, which you'll explore on a relaxing overnight cruise. In Hue you'll wander through the Citadel and enjoy an evening cruise on the Perfume River. A visit to the dramatic tombs of the Nguyen emperors is a must.
Hoi An, Saigon & Mekong Delta
In Hoi An colour-washed buildings date back to the town's days as a remote trading post. You can browse shops offering tailored clothes and beautiful artwork. On to Saigon where you'll explore the main sights by cycle rickshaw and then travel out of the city to visit the Viet Cong's famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Finally enjoy a peaceful river journey and local village stay in the Mekong Delta.
Distinctive Accomodation
You'll stay in a variety of accommodation ranging from four star international hotels to individual cabins on a cruise boat and a local village house. On Halong Bay you'll spend the night on a traditional junk converted into a floating hotel, powered by motor or sail. The tastefully decorated, air conditioned cabins have en suite facilities and are designed with comfort in mind.
Responsible Travel
During your stay in Hanoi you can visit the Binh Luc orphanage; we make a donation to theorphanage on behalf of every traveller to this region. Established to help orphans aged 6-15 yearsold, these donations have helped to develop day to day care and facilities at the centre - whichnow houses more than 40 children.
