Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1-3: - New York, New England & Quebec City
From New York head north through New England to French Canada and Quebec. Visit Quebec City and explore the streets of the old quarter, North America's only surviving walled city and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 4-6: - Montreal & Ottawa
A true cultural mix is next on the agenda when visiting Montreal - the second largest city in Canada. Feel the charm of this 'European style' city with its narrow lanes and small cafes as well as being a major finance, business and art centre. Alternatively a thrilling jet boat ride on the Lachine Rapids will entertain adventure seekers. Next, Canada's capital, Ottawa. No visit to any city is complete without sampling the local foods.and drinks! So we've left plenty of time for that.

Day 7-8: - Toronto & Niagara Falls
Follow the St Lawrence Seaway to the shopping Mecca and endless nightlife of Toronto,. Take in a baseball game at the Skydome or get a bird's eye view from the top of the world's tallest free-standing structure, the CN Tower. Next, view the spectacular Niagara Falls next on the included Maid of the Mist boat trip.

Day 9-15: - Great Lakes, Winnipeg & Canadian Prairies
Cross Lake Huron on the Georgian Bay Ferry before travelling up 'Moose Alley' and canoeing on the unspoilt Great Lakes wilderness lands of Ontario. Next up, the Canadian Prairies. Visiting towns such as Moose Jaw, Medicine Hat, and Swift Current and mixing with locals in bars or just down at the 'general store', you'll know you've gotten off the tourist track now. The anticipation builds as we reach Calgary, gateway to the Rockies.
Accommodation: 5 nights camping included + 2 nights Canadian Prairies hotels approx US$45 pppn in multi-share rooms paid locally.

Day 16-18: - Banff & Yoho National Parks
Our first park is Banff National Park, where everyone has a chance to go hiking or biking on its winding trails, ride the aerial tramway or to soak in Sulphur Mountain's soothing hot springs. Next is Yoho National Park where you can try an exhilarating white water rafting trip on the Kicking Horse River or enjoy the many breath taking hiking trails that has made Yoho famous.

Day 19-21: - Lake Louise & Jasper National Park
Leaving Banff we hike the panoramic trails at Lake Louise, the "gem of the Rockies". Visit the chateau or hike up to the tea house for incredible vistas. Another visually stunning day awaits on the journey over the Icefields Parkway and through the heart of the Rockies - truly one of the world's ultimate drives. Photographers will marvel at the turquoise hue of alpine lakes, countless peaks, forests and abundant wildlife. This superb route commands panoramic views of glaciers, forests and a chance to view wildlife before arriving at Jasper National Park. You have a chance to mountain bike here through some of the most spectacular scenery that the Canadian Rockies offers.

Day 22-25: - British Columbia, Vancouver & Seattle
Traversing British Columbia we reach Canada's most beautiful city, Vancouver. Sample the delights of Gastown or ride a bicycle through Stanley Park. Rounding out this 'road trip' we finish in Seattle.<br>

Tour ends at 18:00 hrs in Seattle on day 25.
