A relaxed two week trip, exploring this captivating island in style, staying in comfortable hotels. We experience the slow pace of life as we walk amongst tobacco plantations and discover the island's lush rural landscapes. We visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Trinidad with its abundant colonial charm, while staying in the town's best hotel. Cayo Las Brujas, an idyllic beach well away from the crowds allows us time to unwind and appreciate the clear waters surrounding the island. In Havana we delve into the fascinating recent history, staying at the famous Nacional hotel, we take a Hemingway Tour and round off our trip with a night at the famous Tropicana Cabaret, arriving in true Cuban style - chrome-covered classic cars.

Day 1Start Havana.
Day 2
City tour of Havana with a stop for a Mojito cocktail.
Day 3
To Vinales, a patchwork of tobacco fields surrounded by towering limestone cliffs.
Day 4
Gentle walking, learning about Cuban rural life.
Day 5
Today is free to relax or explore the many caves.
Day 6
Drive from Vinales to restored colonial town of Cienfuegos.
Day 7
City tour of Cienfuegos.
Day 8
To Trinidad, where we enjoy a tour of this World Heritage Site.
Day 9
A catamaran trip takes us to an island for fresh seafood lunch and quiet beaches.
Day 10
To Cayo Las Brujas visiting Sancti Spiritus on the way.
Day 11
Free time to relax on beach.
Day 12
Drive back to Havana via Santa Clara to visit Che's Mausoleum and Museum - a fascinating insight into the revolutionary icon.
Day 13
Follow in Hemingway's footsteps to some of his favourite haunts and the Tropicana Cabaret.
Day 14
Free time to rest and soak up Havana's rich atmosphere.
Day 15
End Havana.
