Day 01: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Vietnam
Arrive Saigon and transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 02: Saigon
Morning excursion to the Cu Chi region and Cu Chi Tunnels. Return to Saigon and enjoy an afternoon tour of the city. In this essential highlights tour, visit the former Presidential Palace, the History Museum, Notre Dame, Hotel D'ville and Dong Khoi street. Duxton Hotel Saigon (B,L)

Day 03: Saigon - Danang - Hoi An
Transfer to the Saigon airport for flight to Danang. You a met in Danang and transferred to Hoi An with sightseeing en route. First, visit the Cham Museum in Danang. Then visit China Beach, immortalised for many by the US television show and still one of the most spectacular beaches in Asia. Drive to the Marble Mountains for a photo stop en-route to Hoi An. Day 04: Hoi An - Hue
Morning departure for the spectacular overland drive to Hue, the former Imperial Capital. Marvel at the legends of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors who built the fortress and lived within its moated walls for nearly 150 years. After a visit to the Imperial Citadel, the remainder of the afternoon may be spent wandering the stalls at the local Dong Ba market, or taking a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Perfume River. Day 05: Hue
Enjoy a full day Perfume River boat trip to visit the Royal tombs and Thien Mu Pagoda. This tour combines visits to two of the most contrasting tombs. Visit first the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, resplendent in traditional architecture, paved walkways, resting pavilions overlooking tranquil lotus ponds, and a small forest for hunting. In stark contrast, continue to Khai Dinh's Tomb. For the fit and willing, it is possible to cycle to the tombs. Return to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Morin Hotel (B,L)

Day 06: Hue - Hanoi
Transfer to Hue Airport for your flight to Hanoi. You are met in Hanoi and transferred to your hotel for check-in and evening at leisure. Hanoi has sidewalk cafes, pavement barbers, less traffic than Saigon, less rushing about, less noise, less people. Sofitel Plaza Hotel (B,L)

Day 07: Hanoi
Enjoy a full day guided tour of Hanoi. First visit Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Museum, and One Pillar Pagoda. Enjoy an orientation of the tree-lined streets of Hanoi, resplendent with French colonial architecture, including the recently restored Opera House. Continue to the Temple of Literature. Then take to the streets on foot for a walking tour of the Ancient Quarter or 36 Streets District. This densely populated corner of the city was once a center of commerce where goods were sold under the street name of a particular guild.
