VENEZUELA & THE LOST WORLD(Trip #59491)

Tour Overview

A comprehensive circuit taking in the huge contrasts of Venezuela, including the Andes, Angel Falls and the wide plains of Los Llanos
An adventurous itinerary covering an extraordinary range of scenery. Peaks turn to plains in the wildlife haven of Los Llanos. These sweeping expanses are quickly claimed by the undergrowth as we journey deep in the rainforest. Rising majestically from the forests and plains of the Grand Savannah, massive Tepuys (table-top mountains) provide some of the most spectacular scenery on the entire continent. From the biggest emerge the Angel Falls, the world's highest, plunging almost 1000m from Auyan Tepuy (Devil's Mountain).
