Tour Overview
This natural extravaganza begins in Perinet's lush forests which burst with orchids and palms. The largest of all lemurs, the indri, lives here and his haunting ghostly call echoes through the forest. In the south, the forests are ideal for lemur spotting; from gentle walking trails in Berenty NP you'll easily see the cheeky ring-tailed lemurs and the incredible 'dancing' Verreaux's sifakas, plus many other kinds of these lovable, teddy-like creatures. Brightly coloured chameleons will change colour in front of your eyes and beautiful birds fly in the rich canopy.
Treasure Island Paradise
Leaving one tropical paradise you fly to another. The small island of Sainte Marie, once a haven for pirates and swashbuckling heroes, offers deserted beaches for a relaxing end to your trip. Venture into the island's rainforest centre, try snorkelling or just enjoy plain old family beach fun. Between July and September humpback whales can be seen cavorting off the shores.
Responsible Travel
If you would like to bring donations of children's clothes, toys, or school educational stationery (pencils, pens, rules, books, copy books) our local agent will pass them to orphanages which really need support and help. Any items will be most gratefully received
