Horse riding is one of the oldest activities known to mankind. And many millennia have gone by since the first tour on a horse. Nearly every single region of the world uses horses on a regular basis. Cowboy cultures are not just form tall tales, but desolate landscapes devoid of roads from the vast plains of Mongolia to the Andean mountains of Patagonia. Roads do not reach everywhere. On a horse you can arrive at the most desolate mountain villages and to the ruins of ancient cultures lost in the desert. The horse is an adventurer’s best friend.
